On Wednesday, Aug. 15, the Princeville Public Library is hosting a public lecture on “Winter Weather Patterns in Hawaii and the Upcoming Wet Season” by Kauai meteorologist, Gregory Hall of NOAA’s National Weather Service. The wet season generally runs from Sept through Feb. Mr. Hall will also cover the weather system that caused the historic flooding this past spring and how to recognize when a similar pattern has the potential to develop in that manner again.
Gregory Hall is the Meteorologist-in-Charge of the NWS Lihue Office and has had 35 years of professional meteorological experience, 14 of those years on Kauai.
