The KWUDP is a component of theHawaii Water Plan which serves as a dynamic, long – range planning guide for the Commission on Water Resource Management.
Key goals of the KWUDP are to provide guidance for the island’s water resource managers, ensuring that future water needs of the county are met while preserving the integrity of the island’s water resources. It is also toprovide guidance to ensure that sustainable water resources are integrated into the county’sformulation and development of land use policies.
This is the first of two rounds of meetings for the public to learn about and provide input to this important update process.
Auxiliary aids, services and materials in an alternate format are available upon request and should be made no later than five working days prior to the meeting.
