Aloha fellow Kauai residents. Below is a Template for a letter to be sent to the BLNR regarding the Hui lease agreement with the state.
The Hui currently has a year to year revocable permit to manage parking lot and surrounding area. We are trying to turn this into a long term lease to strengthen our organizations ability to care for the place and continue to provide educational and cultural experiences for the people.
All signs were pointing to approval but last minute the AG is now saying he doesn’t approve. We need to overwhelm the BLNR with support letters, from all walks of life in our community. Please take 5-10 minutes to help us and forward this to anyone you think is supportive of our efforts and might help as well!!
