Ciguatera Fish Poisoning Survey

I am a researcher at the University of Hawaiʻi conducting a study on the prevalence and impacts of ciguatera fish poisoning in Hawaiʻi. I am doing anonymous online surveys (5-10 minutes) that are open to all fishers and more targeted interviews with fishers who have gotten ciguatera fish poisoning from fish caught in Hawaiʻi (45-60 mins). Because the time commitment is a big ask, interview participants will be compensated $100 for their time and expertise.

If you or anyone else you know might be interested in participating, the survey can be accessed here, and people can contact me at this email ([email protected]) for more information about the interviews. Participants from all islands are welcome!

Mahalo!
