As of today, the Kāhili section of the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is inaccessible. The adjacent land owner has closed the makai portion of Kāhili Quarry Road (accessed via Kīlauea Road) to vehicles, bikers, and pedestrians due to safety concerns from recent flood damage. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to work with the community to address this issue. Stay tuned for updates as they become available!
